Boats on the foreshore

You may have guessed that I like boats. It’s many years since I sailed in one but I’m always open to invitations!

These are on the premises of the Barrow Sailing Club, on land that was once heavily industrial but is now a linear park and walkway called Channelside Haven.

  1. This pic brings back memories to me as I was a member of the Sailing Club, and my shed was the waiting room of the Ferry that used to run before the bridge was built. It was pulled down and moved to the Boat museum on Windermere, but dont think it was ever put back together.
